Intersections

Art had its origins in magic. Mystics have always spoken of the illusory nature of reality and the power of the imagination, and it is through that experience, that we connect. Through art, common experience is transformed to timeless expressions of shared moments. Art shapes our perception of things outside ourselves, and embodies the workings of inner life. Art is the explication of the transformative process.

A parallel universe occupies the same space as our familiar one, but is unseen, hidden in the intricate molecular structure of matter. Portals into this “altiverse” call us to explore the metaphysical territory. Sometimes I look just inside the doorway, where the two realities nearly converge and I am on relatively familiar ground, seeing just beneath the apparent surface of things. These are our shared connections. To step all the way through, to where the normal means of perception are irrelevant and the very laws of physics no longer apply is what we hope for.
